An experienced snorkeller knows that snorkelling works up an appetite—and that sharing the adventure with like-minded friends makes it even more enjoyable. If this sounds like you, then a snorkelling holiday in Kaş may be just what you’re looking for.

The waters around Kaş are among the clearest in Türkiye. So clear, in fact, that you can often see the seabed without any visual aid. You can enjoy this unique visibility under the guidance of a professional diver or even take the opportunity to earn a diving certification at one of the 20+ accredited diving schools in Kaş.

The climate is typically Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers—perfect for soaking up the sun between dives. And if you’re tired of sandy beaches clinging to everything you own, Kaş offers something special: stone and rock beaches. Whether you prefer smooth pebbles or cliffside ledges that drop straight into the sea, Kaş promises a sand-free seaside experience.

For an even more spectacular view, try paragliding—Kaş is one of the few places in Türkiye where you can soar over the sea at sunset, taking in the panoramic beauty of the coast and the nearby Greek island of Kastellorizo (Meis). It’s a surreal experience you won’t forget.

Of course, a Blue Voyage is a must for visitors. Boats departing from Kaş harbour visit countless bays and coves, many steeped in history and surrounded by unspoiled nature. You’ll feel like you’ve discovered paradise, where nature and history merge across the Turkish and Greek islands.

Accommodation in Kaş is varied and welcoming. From small, family-run pensions to boutique hotels, the town caters to all budgets without the overwhelming feel of large, all-inclusive resorts. The vibe is laid-back and international, attracting visitors from all over the world. Local bars and cafés often host live music, and after a delicious dinner at a rooftop or harbour-side restaurant, you can explore one of the town’s low-key nightclubs.

Looking to venture further? Fethiye is just two hours away by car and offers a different slice of the Mediterranean experience.

There really is nowhere quite like Kaş.
